Service Description: <div><p>This
dataset documents all trees inventoried and managed by the City of Greeley Forestry Program as of 2025. The primary feature layer, titled "Trees_2025," was migrated to the Public Space domain in 2025 and represents individual tree locations and attributes. Each tree record may be associated with multiple entries in related tables that capture detailed
maintenance history and activities, supporting a one-to-many relationship structure. The dataset includes relevant attributes such as
species, condition, planting date, and maintenance records, allowing staff to manage tree assets across public areas effectively.</p>
<p>The purpose of this dataset is to support the ongoing operations of the Forestry Program in maintaining and enhancing the city’s urban forest. It aids in planning, planting, health monitoring, and community engagement efforts such as the “Share the Shade” initiative. This dataset will be useful to city staff such as Parks, Public Works, Stormwater, Community Development and Emergency Management, as well as other municipal departments involved in asset management, public safety,
environmental planning, and infrastructure maintenance. It may also support grant reporting, public communication, and long-term planning related to tree canopy goals and urban heat island mitigation.</p>
